Steve And Sandra Attached To Star The Abstinence Teacher

Fresh off the weekend success of Dinner for Schmucks, Steve Carell is already lining up his next project... and it's gonna co-star Sandra Bullock!
Little Miss Sunshine producers Albert Berger, Ron Yerxa and Polly Johnsen are prepping Tom Perrotta's 2007 novel "The Abstinence Teacher" (reports Production Weekly), about a divorced sex ed teacher in middle America who falls for her daughter's born-again soccer coach.
Directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (of LMS) were originally attached back in '06, but no mention of their involvement now.
Thankfully Steve Carell and Sandra Bullock are both attached to star! Smart pairing. This could actually be a successful dark comedy if they get around to making it!
