It seems like getting Suri Cruise to put on a winter coat is still an impossible mission, as we spotted daddy Tom Cruise bundling her up in a blanket and carrying her to their car last night! While Tom was holding a quilted jacket for his five-and-half-year-old daughter, it looks like she was more interested in dressing for spring in a short dress and bare legs. Brr!

We later spotted Tom and wife Katie Holmes after dinner, and it looks like they're still just in love as they were when the infamous couch incident happened. Aww!

When you're Suri Cruise, you can wear whatever you want to dinner!

The darling five-year-old donned flowered PJs under her favorite fur coat and ladybug Uggs, while venturing out with mom Katie Holmes for a late night snack at Bubby's restaurant in NYC, on Thursday night.

Earlier that day, the gorgeous daughter of Tom Cruise was seen having a bit of a temper tantrum at posh toy shop FAO Schwartz. Luckily, it only took a lollipop, and some fancy toy purchases from the store, for mamma Katie to calm her daughter's fit.

Meanwhile, Suri has reportedly asked for $100,000 worth of presents from Santa Claus this year, including a pony. Would you expect any less?

Suri Cruise, 5, is starting school ... but is it run by Scientologists?

The New Village Leadership Academy in Calabasas, Calif., where Suri is attending, was founded by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. Both are rumored Scientologists.

Suri's father, Tom Cruise, is openly a Scientologist.

NVLA drew attention in 2009 for teachings similar to Scientology's. At Scientology schools, children are supposedly fed low-carb lunches and sometimes even have days of fasting. Says NVLA's website: "There is a low-sugar policy at the school. ... Also stressed is that television time be limited [at home]."

One of the principals of Scientology is that children, in effect, teach themselves. This is certainly reflected on NVLA's website, which reads, "The New Village Leadership Academy is dedicated to the cultivation of powerful, self-educating leaders ... our children move forward as quickly as they like."

And, eventually, perhaps learn that we are descended from aliens.

X17 contacted the school. We were told, "We are not affiliated with any religion. This is a secular school."

Yesterday Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise went shopping in New York City, and it seems like the ladies were on very different pages when they left one of the Big Apple's boutiques.

Katie was spotted clutching a bag of food, so perhaps five-year-old Suri became a bit less surly after getting a bite to eat? Here's to hoping!

After spending a good chunk of August in New York City, the Don't Be Afraid of the Dark star spent Friday afternoon out in Beverly Hills with her daughter Suri.

The two made the perfect mother-daughter pair on the scorching L.A. day - Katie wore an army green jacket, pastel tank, floral skirt and her fave tan booties, while 5-year-old Suri wore an adorable bright pink dress and pigtails and a headband.

As for those inked chains on Katie's wrist, the actress' rep says the henna tattoo is just for fun.

Now this is the life!

Katie Holmes carried daughter Suri Cruise in her arms for a second time Wednesday, toting her 5-year-old to a heliport in New York City.

As the actress carried her sleepy one towards their private helicopter ride, Suri held on tight to her beloved doll while mom also carried a plush doggy in her hands. But there was still one thing missing - Suri's blanket!

The poor girl was in tears without her beloved blanky, but a staff member found it just in the nick of time and Suri had it in her arms for the flight.

Suri definitely got over the incident fast - she was seen pressing her nose up against the helicopter window and making funny faces. So cute! It probably helped that mom Katie kept her cool before and during takeoff.

Tom Cruise may have had a late night, but you'd never know - he looks wide-awake and super happy!

The 49-year-old actor had a fun date night with wife Katie Holmes Sunday, taking in Katy Perry's Los Angeles concert. By Monday morning, they were already in New York City to get ready for the premiere of Katie's new movie Don't Be Afraid of the Dark.

Even though she's used to jetsetting with her famous mom and dad, Suri Cruise was clearly a sleepy girl - she was clinging to her dad as they left their NYC penthouse and head off to Chelsea Piers.

Suri's even clutching on to her beloved Hello Kitty doll, cementing her status as the cutest 5-year-old celebri-tot ever.

Five-year-old Suri Cruise is an underage "it" girl, hanging at the Soho House in Miami on Friday.

The chic tot held hands with her friends (and their mommies) as she exited the members-only club, while mom Katie wasn't far behind to give her daughter a lift back to the car.

What a fashionable pair these two are -- Suri in her tulle-trimmed gray and pink skirt and mom in her wide-legged white jeans. But the little Cruise left her usual high heels at home in favor of some more comfortable flip-flops, which it was her pal who sported a more mature look with some black kitten heels.
