Redmond O'Neal, 26, was pulled over early this morning in Santa Monica for running a red light, and during the stop, officers found heroin in his car. The 26-year-old redhead is the son of Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett.
A public information officer released the following statement:

The officer then watched as he got into his vehicle. He proceeded to go north bound on Lincoln before turning west bound on Olympic, it was at this time the officer observed him going through the red turn arrow."
The officer added, "A search of his vehicle was done and narcotics were recovered."

Remember when Ryan O'Neal hit on his daughter Tatum at Farrah Fawcett's funeral? "I was just trying to be funny with a strange Swedish woman, and it's my daughter. It's so sick," he later explained. Ick. That's all I think of when I see the two of 'em together now!
Ryan and Tatum dined out at Madeo last night and posed for pix in front of the paps. Talk about awkward!

So we all know that Ryan O'Neal's relationship with his kids isn't exactly conventional, but this is too much, even for him.
Ryan told Vanity Fair that when he was hugged by a hot blonde after burying Farrah, his initial response was to flirt with her...until he realized the blonde was actually his daughter Tatum!
He tells the mag:
“I had just put the casket in the hearse and I was watching it drive away when a beautiful blonde woman comes up and embraces me,” Ryan said. “I said to her, ‘You have a drink on you? You have a car?’ She said, ‘Daddy, it’s me—Tatum!’ I was just trying to be funny with a strange Swedish woman, and it’s my daughter. It’s so sick.”
Sick on so many levels, Ryan. But what did Tatum think of being hit on by her dad?
“That’s our relationship in a nutshell,” Tatum told the mag. “You make of it what you will. It had been a few years since we’d seen each other, and he was always a ladies’ man, a bon vivant.”
What's disturbing is that she doesn't seem too disturbed! Note to the O'Neals: Incest ISN'T best!

The day after her arrest for allegedly trying to buy cocaine and crack near her NYC home, Tatum O'Neal cleaned up for an AA meeting.
This morning, the troubled star told X17online:
"I think it's a tragic thing but I brought it upon my self. I'm glad it happened the way it happened. Any kind of addiction is always a tragedy. Right now I'm on my way to take care of myself by going to an AA meeting."
Addiction can be a lifelong battle - nice to see she's back in the trenches!

Good lord ... I had no idea Tatum O'Neal was on crack!
As you've probably heard, the actress/daughter of Ryan O'Neal/ex-wife of John McEnroe was busted for buying cocaine and crack last night near her Lower East Side apartment!
And here was the excuse she gave the cops, according to the New York Post:
"You know who I am, right?" Then she said, "I'm researching a part - I'm doing this for a part as a junkie. Can't we just forget about this?" !!!!
She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. -- Yikes!!!
