Taylor Lautner Dropped By Publicist Because Of Difficult Dad
Posted on Fri Jun 3, 2011 09:35 AM PDT
We have a feeling it won't be that hard for Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner to get new representation!
The teen heartthrob was recently dropped by his publicist, Slate PR’s Robin Baum, after claims Lautner's father was too demanding and overbearing.
Baum reportedly resigned from the role after just three months, according to THR.
Lautner once hinted his dad was a bit controlling when he revealed his family's strict rule about dating:
- "My dad says I can't date until I'm 28. I'm definitely hoping to negotiate that one down. My parents brought me up to have respect and not take things for granted."
The 19-year-old star is currently shopping for a new agent.
Baum also represents Johnny Depp and Daniel Craig.
Taylor Lautner can next be seen in Breaking Dawn: Part 1, and will play an action star and co-produce his next move, Abduction.

Some people have very bad parents.
Lautner is an adult and needs to cut the leech of a father out of his life.
Unfortunately, that's what some people have to do.
28???
His father is nuts.
Such behavior is more than " a bit controlling".
Taylor should move out pronto, if he hasn't already, and lawyer up.
What a dumbass...grow up and tell dad to mind his own business, you're an adult now. That old and that kind of money nobody should tell you what to do!
I hope he's not abused by dad. :( He seems so sweet and innocent compared to most and I LIKE that about him. He was the only sane one at the awards show last night too. I wish him the best.
