Taylor Lautner Victim of Internet Hoax Claiming He's "Out And Proud"

Taylor Lautner fell victim to a photoshopping hoax that spread across the internet on Monday claiming the Twilight hunk was "out and proud."
A rep for People has confirmed the cover is "absolutely fake."
On the fake cover, it says Lautner is "tired of the rumors" and feels "more liberated, and happier than I've ever been."
After seeing the cover on the internet, Def Jam's Russell Simmons Tweeted, "proud of Taylor Lautner for his bravery and his courage." Upon hearing that it was a fake, Simmons later Tweeted, "disappointed that people would joke about someone coming out about their sexuality. Let Taylor Lautner be whoever he wants to be..."
Lautner's rep has yet to issue a comment.

Not funny at all. A joke is one thing, but this crosses the line. Whoever did it should be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent. Enough with the phoney press stories already. Nobody knows what to believe anymore. This is not a good day for those who do this for a living.
