Taylor Momsen Calls Miley Cyrus' Style "Disney Bubblegum S**t"

Taylor Momsen wants the world to know that she's NOTHING like Miley Cyrus. The 16-year old Gossip Girl starlet is sounding off to FHM UK Magazine regarding comparisons to 17-year-old Cyrus.
The Pretty Reckless singer tells the mag:
- "I'm not looking to be Miley f**king Cyrus. I don't care about the fame. I do it because I love music. I like making records and if people like them, then we'll go along for the ride. I'm not dissing Miley personally. However, I do think the Disney bubblegum s**t that the world is living right now is pathetic. I thought we passed that repression. I don't know Miley, but musically we're different. To compare us because of our age is silly. People will be surprised by the record. I mean, it's a rock record. I get that there is this blonde thing from Gossip Girl and they're expecting pop s**t, but it's a rock band and its heavy. Our record is a life record. It confronts everything head on. It's death, love, drugs, sex, religion, politics."
Wait ... HOW old is Ms. Momsen? 16 must be the new 30.

they are both good. Taylor could be REALLY good if she would just not try to take this rebel thing so extreme. as someone above posted, she is a rock singer with a good rock voice playing in a real band instead of computerized fake music. that is refreshing, and so is her attitude to a degree, just tone it back a little Taylor. there is no need to purposefully antagonize, your music is good enough that you don't need to go so overboard being eccentric.
