Taylor Swift graces the cover of Vogue's February issue, and the starlet chats about fame, boys and how she was never really the cool kid.

On her early years, Taylor jokes, "So ... middle school? Awkward. Having a hobby that’s different from everyone else’s? Awkward. Singing the national anthem on weekends instead of going to sleepovers? More awkward. Braces? Awkward. Gain a lot of weight before you hit the growth spurt? Awkward. Frizzy hair, don’t embrace the curls yet? Awkward. Try to straighten it? Awkward! So many phases!”

She continues, “I think who you are in school really sticks with you. I don’t ever feel like the cool kid at the party, ever. It’s like, Smile and be nice to everybody, because you were not invited to be here.” Taylor is incredibly humble, and she admits that she has fears, just like the rest of us. “This is what I’ve wanted to do my whole life,” she tells the mag. “It never freaks me out. Never. Ever. But you know what does freak me out? When is the other shoe going to drop? I am so happy right now. So I am always living in fear. This can’t be real, right? This can’t really be my life.”

So what about boys? “I think I am smart unless I am really, really in love, and then I am ridiculously stupid,” she says. She's written songs about many of the Hollywood hunks she's dated (including Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal), but when asked about her current relationship status, she says, “I got nothing going on! I just don’t really feel like dating. I really have this great life right now, and I’m not sad and I’m not crying this Christmas, so I am really stoked about that.” When asked if she was crying last Christmas (following her split from Gyllenhaal), she said, “I am not gonna go into it! It’s a sad story!”

Will Taylor write about her last breakup on her next album? It certainly seems like it! "There's just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak," she says. "And that will turn out to be what the next album is about."

Not only are we going to hear previously unreleased songs from Taylor Swift on The Hunger Games soundtrack, but we'll also get some new tunes from the Arcade Fire and the Decemberists.

MTV reports that the album will be produced by Grammy-winner T Bone Burnett, who has already worked with Swift on the soundtrack's first single, "Safe and Sound" and the Arcade Fire on "Horn of Plenty".

And get this -- the film's star, Jennifer Lawrence, will also lend her vocals
 to the soundtrack! Burnett tells MTV that Lawrence's singing is "beautiful. She did great. She's singing great. Killer actor too." The rest of the lineup has not yet been released, but the soundtrack will feature all new songs based on themes that complement the film's plot.

Taylor Swift is one of the only country stars that can look cute while dressed frumpy.

In her latest video for the single "Ours," the 21-year-old is portraying an office worker ... messy hair, sneakers and a snoozy wardrobe. But Taylor's love interest, played by Friday Night Lights star Zach Gilford, makes for a cute storyline. As usual, love prevails. We all love a happy ending!

This is the fifth song off Taylor's platinum album, Speak Now.

Ms. Swift, who turns 22 next week, recently said she'd like to collaborate with Nicki Minaj. Talk about an interesting combo!

Taylor Swift was honored as Woman of the Year at Billboard's seventh annual Women in Music event in New York yesterday, and the 21-year-old starlet is the youngest artist to receive this award. "I would go through every single page and every single chart and just daydream about what it would be like to see my name in there someday," she said during her acceptance speech. "And today I walked in to flashing camera bulbs and all these important people in music, and I thought, 'I guess that's what it looks like.'"

Nicky Minaj was also honored at the event, receiving the Rising Superstar award. Minaj told ABC News' Robin Roberts during an onstage Q&A that she's dealt with plenty of rejection before hitting it big in the music biz. "I've had a lot of doors closed in my face," she said. "I'm no different than any struggling artist that just tried one last time." Nice work ladies!

Big winner of the night Taylor Swift wowed on the America Music Awards red carpet in a gorgeous Reem Acra gown that was dripping with gold sequins, and perfectly accentuated her natural beauty.

The 21-year-old country songstress nabbed three huge honors at tonight's show including, Country Album of the year for “Speak Now”, Country Female Artist of the Year, and the biggest award of the night: Artist of the Year.

Swift told the audience after winning the Favorite Country Album honor: "This is crazy! I ended up writing the record by myself, so the fact that you would honor it this way, you have no idea what this means to me."

Country cutie Taylor Swift's star just got a little brighter at Wednesday's CMA Awards ... when she earned the coveted Entertainer of the Year honor.

She was the only female in this category and beat out the following: Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean and Blake Shelton. Pretty impressive!

Swift also performed her latest track "Ours."

Other big winners of the night included Band Perry, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Sugarland and Lady Antebellum.

The show was hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley.

While owning cats can be a negative stereotype for women, 21-year-old Taylor Swift certainly doesn't conjure up images of an elderly woman living alone with her cats.

But, Swift does have a new roomie! She just Tweeted this pic of her and new pet kitten Meredith!

The country singer is known for wearing cat shirts and sweatshirts, and now she has a cute kitten in real life. Adorable! Fellow celebs like Katy Perry (another cat fan) have Tweeted at Taylor about how cute little Meredith is!

Gorgeous country superstar Taylor Swift stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday to promote her new fragrance, “Wonderstruck", and to give the talk show host an update on her relationship status!

When DeGeneres asked Swift if her boyfriend likes the way her new scent smells, the singer replied:

"I don’t have one. I keep telling you that. If I didn’t and I was (acting shy) I don’t have a boyfriend, like oh my god. You’d know I had a boyfriend. I for real don’t have a boyfriend. I sit by myself and I watch “Law & Order.” I don’t even have like kind of a boyfriend. I don’t have someone that I’m texting that is a guy that someday might be my boyfriend. There’s like nothing going on right now."

After dating a string of high-profile celebs including Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal, it seems the "You Belong With Me" singer is ready to lay low for awhile.

Swift went on to tell Ellen, "I want to be the girl that when she falls in love. It’s a big deal and it’s a rare thing."
