Taylor Swift Tops Forbes' List Of Highest-Paid Stars Under 30

Apparently it pays to get your heart broken!

Forbes magazine just released its list of the top-earning stars under 30, and the blonde country star came in first place, making an estimated $57 million between May 2011 and May 2012. Not only does every single the 22-year-old releases rule the charts, her albums sell millions of copies! The largest source of her income, however, is her consistently sold out concerts, which rake in an average of $1 million per night.

Justin Bieber came in #2, and was the only male to make the top five. The "Boyfriend" singer banked a whopping $55 million, thanks to concerts, album sales, appearances and endorsements like Proactiv. The Canadian pop star has also made saavy business investments in start-ups like Spotify, adding to his gross income.

Rounding out the list: Rihanna ($55 million), Lady Gaga ($52 million), and Katy Perry ($45 million), Adele ($35 million), Kristen Stewart ($34.5 million), Lil Wayne ($27 million), Taylor Lautner ($26.5 million), and Robert Pattinson ($26.5 million.)

Forbes calculated the stars' earnings by taking into account album and concert sales, movie gigs, endorsement and ad work and profit participation. The data was gathered by talking to managers, agents, lawyers and multiple industry experts.
