The Hunger Games Soundtrack To Feature New Music From Taylor Swift
Posted on Tue Dec 27, 2011 11:40 AM PDT
Not only are we going to hear previously unreleased songs from Taylor Swift on The Hunger Games soundtrack, but we'll also get some new tunes from the Arcade Fire and the Decemberists.
MTV reports that the album will be produced by Grammy-winner T Bone Burnett, who has already worked with Swift on the soundtrack's first single, "Safe and Sound" and the Arcade Fire on "Horn of Plenty".
And get this -- the film's star, Jennifer Lawrence, will also lend her vocals to the soundtrack! Burnett tells MTV that Lawrence's singing is "beautiful. She did great. She's singing great. Killer actor too." The rest of the lineup has not yet been released, but the soundtrack will feature all new songs based on themes that complement the film's plot.
Can't wait!
