Aaron Sorkin's HBO Pilot Gets Picked Up
Posted on Fri Jan 28, 2011 01:15 PM PDT
Um, was there any doubt as to whether it would?
HBO has ordered a pilot of Aaron Sorkin's show about a nightly cable news program, and the Oscar-nominated scribe will be reunited with Social Network producer Scott Rudin for the project.
Sorkin spent time at MSNBC, Fox News and CNN researching the show, and though he shadowed Keith Olbermann, the host will not have any involvement in the series. We can't imagine the show won't get picked up for a full season, and we're very eager to check it out!
Can't wait! And we really, really, really hope Sorkin gets the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay...
