Fox Cancels 24
Posted on Sun Mar 28, 2010 11:50 AM PDT
After eight seasons, Fox has finally pulled the plug on 24.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the action-drama starring Kiefer Sutherland was given the boot due to an inflated budget, declining ratings and "creative fatigue."
Though there are certainly millions of disappointed fans out there, fear not - Studio 20th TV has been working on developing a film that takes protagonist Jack Bauer to Europe, and executive producer Howard Gordon says they are looking into other options to keep the story alive.
8 seasons was a pretty good run though! Are you sad to see Jack and company go?

No way...24 Rocks. What other show is that action packed and riveting. I love Jack Bauer. Keifer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub rock.
Janeane garafalo ruined it for us.
I stopped watching then.
bout f--king time!!
Love 24! Have watched since day 1 and I'm sad that this will be the last day. But really glad there may be 24 movies to look forward to. Thanks to Kiefer and company for a thrilling ride!
SUTHERLAND WANTED IT CANCELED! He wants to do a 24 movie & get into some other projects.
He brought us a great show. Let's see what else he has in his head.
Thanks, Kiefer! U've been superb!
I'm glad it's canceled! The show had a nauseating premise and Kiefer was unbelievable in the role!
Kiefer is smoking hot, sexy and my god does he look good crouched behind a dumpster with a gun. His show will be sorely missed and I will most definitely miss looking at Kiefer every Monday night.
@12:22 I hear you about Janeane. Goodness she sucked.
