Reality isn't so fun for Real Housewives of New Jersey Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice plead guilty to several mortgage and bankruptcy fraud charges in a New Jersey courtroom on Tuesday.

Back in July, the Bravo reality stars were charged in a 41-count indictment including conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud. The couple originally plead not guilty to two charges in November. But it looks like the duo has changed their tune.

NBC New York is reporting that Joe faces 37 to 46 months in prison, while Teresa could serve anywhere from 21 to 27 months. The Jersey couple have four daughters: Gia, 13, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5.

Before Teresa headed to court on Tuesday, the Bravo star tweeted her congrats to Real Housewife NeNe Leakes, who just announced this morning that she will be competing on season 18 of Dancing With the Stars. Teresa wrote, "Congrats @NeNeLeakes on DWTS!" she tweeted. "Can't wait to watch you. Xx."

Yeah we bet she can't wait -- we're sure the ladies in prison just can't get enough of DWTS …

US Attorney Rejects Teresa Giudice's Plea Bargain; Wants Reality Star To Serve Time

The Real Housewives of New Jersey may have to change its name to Orange is the New Black after a prosecutor rejected Teresa Giudice's plea deal in which the Jersey housewife wouldn't serve any jail time and her husband Joe would serve all of the time, reports RadarOnline.

“Teresa and Joe’s defense team submitted a plea deal on Wednesday but the US Attorney denied it. … Teresa wanted a plea deal that keeps her out of jail so she offered to do anything else but jail time and have Joe serve all of the time in jail. The prosecutor dismissed the deal outright," a source close to the situation told the publication.

On July 29, Teresa, 41, and Joe, 43, were charged by a federal grand jury on 39 counts, including conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud. In addition, the indictment also charges Giuseppe with failure to file tax returns from 2004 through 2008 -- when he allegedly made nearly $1 million.

The source also added, "The prosecutor has said that if she wants to plead it out she has to do jail time. They believe that the evidence will show that Teresa can’t play dumb. She was in cahoots with Joe and was just as much a part of orchestrating the scam as he was.”

Bank fraud carries up to 30 years in prison, while conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud carries a maximum sentence of 20 years. If convicted, Teresa could face up to 50 years behind bars. Giuseppe faces an additional 10 years in prison for allegedly using his brother's ID in 2010 to get a fake driver's license.

Things aren't looking good for the too-tan reality star or her hubby. And we aren't gonna lie -- orange really isn't Teresa's power color!

Teresa and Joe Giudice may be facing 50 years in prison if convicted of fraud, but the reality TV couple put their legal drama aside over the weekend and enjoyed a day at the beach with their four daughters.

The couple posted $1 million bail last Tuesday, and if convicted of all 39 counts of bank fraud, mail/wire fraud and making false statements on loan applications, they are looking at spending a serious amount of time in the slammer.

"I wish I could hug all of you right now," Giudice tweeted last week. "Thank you all so so much for your love and support. It means the world to me and my family! Today is a most difficult day for our family. I support Joe and, as a wonderful husband and father, I know he wants only the best for our lovely daughters and me. I am committed to my family and intend to maintain our lives in the best way possible, which includes continuing my career. As a result, I am hopeful that we will resolve this matter with the Government as quickly as possible."

Just a day after being charged with 39 counts of fraud, Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice appeared before Judge Cathy Waldor at the United States District Court in Newark, New Jersey, and were each released on $500,000 unsecured bail bonds. The couple have also been ordered not to leave either New York or New Jersey until their August 14 hearing, and they must also surrender their passports.

On Monday, Teresa, 41, and Joe, 43, were charged in a 39-count indictment that included charges of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, bankruptcy fraud and making false statements on loan applications. In addition, the indictment also charges Giuseppe with failure to file tax returns from 2004 through 2008 -- when he allegedly made nearly $1 million.

"Today is a most difficult day for our family. I support Joe and, as a wonderful husband and father, I know he wants only the best for our lovely daughters and me," Teresa said in a statement to Us Weekly. "I am committed to my family and intend to maintain our lives in the best way possible, which includes continuing my career. As a result, I am hopeful that we will resolve this matter with the government as quickly as possible."

On Monday, Teresa's attorney, Henry Klingeman, said in a statement, "Teresa will plead 'not guilty.' The judicial process that begins today with an indictment is a search for the truth. As it moves forward, we look forward to vindicating her."

Bank fraud carries up to 30 years in prison, while conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud carries a maximum sentence of 20 years. If convicted, Teresa could face up to 50 years behind bars. Joe faces an additional 10 years in prison for allegedly using his brother's ID in 2010 to get a fake driver's license.

Well this doesn't look good!

On Monday, Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa Giudice, 41, and her husband, Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice, 43, were charged by a federal grand jury on 39 counts, including conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud.

Despite the Jersey girl's desire to resolve this matter, the outcome looks grim. “The indictment returned today alleges the Guidices lied to the bankruptcy court, to the IRS and to a number of banks. Everyone has an obligation to tell the truth when dealing with the courts, paying their taxes and applying for loans or mortgages. That’s reality,” said U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman in a press release from the New Jersey Attorney's office.

Teresa's attorney, Henry Klingeman, also said in a statement, "Teresa will plead 'not guilty.' The judicial process that begins today with an indictment is a search for the truth. As it moves forward, we look forward to vindicating her."

Bank fraud carries up to 30 years in prison, while conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud carries a maximum sentence of 20 years. If convicted, Teresa could face up to 50 years behind bars. Giuseppe faces an additional 10 years in prison for allegedly using his brother's ID in 2010 to get a fake driver's license.
