Who knew The Situation loves kitties THAT much? Um, yeah.

The Jersey Shore hunk is striking a shirtless pose in a new PETA campaign ad ... raising awareness for spaying and neutering cats.

Mike Sorrentino posted the above photo and the following, "It was a pleasure working with @peta on this campaign. A great cause with an important message! #support."

We all know Sitch loves to chase that tail!

All of that hard partying down at the Shore has finally taken its toll on Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino!

It was reported this week that the Jersey Shore reality star has checked himself into an undisclosed treatment program, but denies that its for the treatment of substance abuse.

Sorrentino's rep revealed in a statement on Tuesday:

"He has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule."

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Good Charlotte kicked off an exciting New Year's weekend bash at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas last night. Reality star and fashionista, Nicole Richie, NBA legend, Julius "Dr. J" Erving, and gorgeous singer, Brandy, also celebrated the end of the year at the stylish nightclub.

Sorrentino is looking forward to getting some rest in 2012. "My New Year's resolution is to take it easy and relax more," said the Jersey Shore hunk.

But, that resolution would have to wait -- Sorrentino was anything but relaxed as he enjoyed celebrating the end of 2011. The MTV star yelled "Happy New Year" to fans and even threw his jewelry into the crowd.

Good Charlotte performed on the rooftop nightclub of Chateau Gardens. Brothers Joel and Benji Madden, as well as the rest of the band, gave fans an incredible once-in-a-lifetime performance under the Eiffel Tower of Paris Las Vegas as they sang "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous," "Dance Floor Anthem" and more.

Nicole looked on and cheered for her man throughout the performance.

Sugar Factory

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino sure knows how to get his adoring fans amp'd up. Talk about a sugar high!

The Jersey Shore star launched his very own Couture Pop at Sugar Factor American Brassiere in Las Vegas over the weekend. We're told hundreds of ladies showed up ... and looking at those sexy abs, we're not surprised. Now THAT'S something to fist pump about!

Who knew The Situation was such a giver? Nothing like the sweet taste of success.

Flow Formal Wear

Jersey Shore made Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino a household name, and now the beefy reality star is hoping to do the same for Flow Formal Wear.

The Sitch reportedly signed a six figure deal to endorse "The Situation Collection" which includes jackets, vests, bowties ... the works.

Not sure if you'll be able to rock some of these looks to prom (like the tank top and the vest combo ... yikes!), but we have a feeling The Situation would do so in a heartbeat.

We guess you'd call it a reverse-spokesperson deal?

Abercrombie & Fitch has announced that the company would offer "substantial payment" to Jersey Shore's Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino ... if he stops wearing the company's clothing.

Said ANF in a statement:

"We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino's association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image. ... this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans. We have also extended this offer to other members of the cast, and are urgently waiting a response."

Of course, the Jersey Shore is no stranger to scandal -- the show features partying, sex, etc. But ANF may be trying to distance itself from its own scandal -- the retailer has come under fire over the years for sexually explicit ads, stereotyping on T-shirts and employment practices.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino flashed his sculpted midsection while leaving Trousdale in West Hollywood. Looks like the Jersey Shore star, 29, still has those washboard abs that made him famous!

This morning while stopping by KIIS-FM's morning show, Sorrentino discussed his future on the hit MTV show. After host Ryan Seacrest asked him how long he expects to stay with Jersey Shore, Sitch reveals:

"Who knows? That could have been my last. I have my own development deal ... my own show coming shortly."

With his reported six figure deals for a line of tuxedos and a chain of tanning salons, we have a feeling regardless of future seasons on Jersey Shore, The Situation will be just fine!

It's been a record-breaking summer of heat on the East Coast, but the Jersey Shore cast doesn't seem to have a clue.

Those crazy kids, who've been filming the sixth season of the hit MTV reality show in Seaside Heights, N.J., packed up their cars for a fun camping trip (sometimes you need to get away from a crowded shore house ... and the oh-so-sanitary Smush room).

Save for the ridiculously warm boots and extremely micro shorts and skirts, the crew seems to know what they're doing. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro all helped drag the giant suitcases out of the house and stuff the car full of goodies like Kettle chips ... and what we can only assume is tons of beer in those coolers.

We're ignoring making fun of the boots (again) to pose just two questions: how long are they going for with that many suitcases, and where were Vinny Guadagnino and DJ Pauly D? Help out, boys!
