T.I. To Serve One Year And A Day, And Then Some!

Spotted: Rapper T.I. leaving Mastro's in Beverly Hills last night with his head held high. Now, the guy's already been given credit for 305 days of house arrest, but will that affect his one-year-and-a-day prison sentence at Forrest City come May 26th?
Nope! MTV News has cleared up some of the confusion...
T.I. - aka Clifford Harris Jr. - plead guilty to possessing firearms and of being a convicted felon in possession of firearms back in March, and with the help of a plea deal (he donated 1,000 hours of community service) the rapper received a reduced sentence.
But his home confinement has nothing to do with the time he will spend in jail, which remains the same. After T.I. completes his sentence at Forrest City prison, he will then have to serve out his remaining home detention - approximately two months of it.
Phew! The moral of this story, basically, is don't break the law!

t.i is the best. he made mistakes but has learned from them. i support him whatever he does. i love him to bits i dont want him to go to jail but coz of his mistakes has to. am prayin dat you be ok and you will get through dis god bless you t.i your the best

i like his music, and he's done alot of good since he got busted, but a convicted felon in possession of a weapon usually gets a 5 year stint-i guess i should have learned to rap

He walks into prison as a tough man. In a few years he walks out as a loose ass.
I have to say that I really have respect for T.I. after seeing his reality show on MTV. I know it was part of his community service, but unless he is as good of an actor as he is as a rapper I truly believe he was sincere. He ginuinely came across as a good person from a good family who wants nothing but the best for his grandparents, neices, nephews, and especially his kids. The cycle has to be broken sometime and maybe if more "Rappers" would go on record like he has done there would be no more Biggie Smalls or Tupac Shakurs in the world. I wish him the best of luck and and God Speed!!!!

He is actually only serving 60 days. The decision was made a few days ago. His other time was cut off for time spent on house arrest.
Montana Mike: It's not about celebs it's about not using a public defender. He got a damn good lawyer her in ATL. I had a case where I got off real good and it's because my lawyer was good.
