Tim Robbins Loses Both Parents In Two Weeks

Tim Robbins has now lost both his mother and father within two weeks of each other.
The actor's mother, Mary, passed away Sunday at age 78, a mere 12 days after Robbins' father, Gil, died at 80.
Mary and Gil both died at their home in Esteban Cantu, Mexico; Mary of a heart arrhythmia and Gil of prostate cancer. Both professional musicians, they had been married for 59 years.
The Associated Press quotes Robbins as saying his mother "had a calm and cheerful demeanor, a sharp wit, a gentle spirit and a generous and loving heart." The Los Angeles Times reported that Robbins said his father "was very charming, open and funny. He had a real strong moral center; he spoke up for what he believed in."
Robbins next stars in HBO's Cinema Verite, the story of the Loud family and their appearance in the 1973 PBS documentary "An American Family." It premieres April 23rd.

Sorry for his loss.it is a terrible news .RIP both. 59 years marriage is a very long time. Definitely not something that happen in hollywood.

I have always loved Mr. Robbins. Sorry for his loss but his parents probably couldn't live without eachother, so they went in death as they were in life-toghether.
