Gotta love Tom Cruise!

The 50-year-old star greeted fans after his appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Tuesday in New York City, and he's been quite the good sport while promoting his new sci-fi flick, Oblivion. Last week he chatted with Jimmy Fallon, and he was all smiles after getting pelted with an egg during a skit on the late night show.

In other news, it was just announced that Cruise will star in the upcoming movie Yukikaze, which is based on a series of Japanese novels by Chohel Kamayashi. According to a plot synopsis, "a planetary defense force beats back an invasion of aliens using a wormhole over Antarctica, setting up bases on the aliens' planet." Tom certainly loves the action films!

Tom Cruise attended the L.A. premiere of his new film Oblivion last night, and the action star wore his favorite item of clothing - a turtleneck! This isn't the first time he's rocked the outdated fashion, either!

The A-lister has been doing non-stop promotional appearances for the flick, and there was a little mix up when a German tabloid misquoted the hunky actor supposedly speaking out on his divorce from Katie Holmes!

"I did not expect that. Life is a challenge... to be 50 and have experiences and think you have everything under control, and then it hits you - that's what life is... Life is a tragicomic. You need a certain sense of humor," he was quoted as saying.

Cruise's rep shot down the rumors, claiming his client never said anything about his divorce.

Tom Cruise's latest Oblivion press stop is Taiwan, and the 50-year-old actor flashed his multi-million dollar smile as he greeted fans at the premiere.

In the flick Cruise plays a drone repairmen on a post-apocalyptic Earth destroyed by aliens, and when asked is he's interested in traveling to space, Tom told The Sun, "I'm going to let a couple of other people test it out first but it would be great. I was always hoping when I was a kid that we would be traveling to different planets by now."

"I don't think you can actually count it out," he added when asked about other life forms. "It might be a little arrogant to think we were the only ones in all the galaxies throughout the universe — but I've never met one!"

Prior to striking a pose on the red carpet, Tom made an appearance at Din Tai Fung Dumpling House in Taipei where he learned how to make steamed buns:

Tom Cruise attended the film premiere of his new movie Oblivion in Moscow yesterday, and even though his co-star Olga Kurylenko towered over him, the A-list actor looked every inch the leading man as he waved to fans and signed autographs on the red carpet.

The cast of the movie has really been globetrotting to promote the thriller these days! Before Russia, the whole team was in Rio De Janeiro.

The film, set in 2073, finds the action star playing a Marine Commander who is one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth, which was nearly destroyed sixty years prior by an alien invasion.

Only Tommy can make movies like this!

This could get nasty!

Tom Cruise is suing Life & Style magazine for libel to the tune of $50 million after they published a story claiming the actor had "abandoned" his daughter after his split from wife Katie Holmes.

As part of their case, defense for the publishing company have demanded details about the 6-year-old's "mental and emotional state", as well as exact details regarding Cruise's contact and visitation schedule during that time period.

They didn't stop there, either!

L&S also requested to know "the role that Cruise's membership in the Church of Scientology played in his decisions regarding his visitation and communication with Suri," in the legal documents.

Cruise's camp is fighting back with their own demands, though! Lawyers have asked for information on "Bauer's policies and practices with respect to obtaining information, paying for sources, verifying the credibility of sources with whom the writers and editors haven't spoken."

If the case makes it to trial, it will be heard in court next year at the earliest.

Let's hope both sides have nothing to hide!

Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt were snapped on the set of All You Need is Kill in London, England on Friday, and it looks like things were getting pretty intense in this scene!

The film, which is based on the novel of the same name, follows "a soldier fighting in a war with aliens finds himself caught in a time loop of his last day in the battle, though he becomes better skilled along the way," according to IMDb. Brad Pitt was initially approached to play the lead, but he had conflicts with other films, so he opted out.

Glad these two are able to laugh it off at the end of the day ... and we can't wait to see/hear more about this flick!

Tom Cruise posed for photos outside of The Late Show With David Letterman on Monday evening in New York City, and the actor also took several minutes to sign autographs for an army of fans.

Tom is currently promoting his new flick Jack Reacher, but tonight's N.Y.C. premiere was postponed due to the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. “Out of respect for the families who lost loved ones in Newtown, Connecticut, we are postponing tonight’s event,” The Film Society of Lincoln Center said in a statement. “We extend our love and condolences to you. Our community grieves with yours.”

The event was to benefit the society's 50th anniversary fund, and Paramount Pictures added, "We support Lincoln Center and their decision to postpone their fundraiser this evening." Last week's Pittsburgh premiere of the film was also postponed due to the tragedy in Connecticut.
