Don't Ask, Don't Tell

Although the production was denied permission to shoot on location in Berlin (due to Cruise's beliefs in Scientology), filming has begun in an unused airport southeast of Berlin. The Germans are caught between a rock and a hardplace in their outcry of Cruise, a Scientologist, playing a German martyr. Some say their dislike of Scientology (considered tyrannical by some) comes from a lesson learned from WWII, others use this instance to point to Germany's history of religious intolerance.

Scientology is considered a dangerous sect, that psychologically manipulates and brainwashes their members by a lot of people in Europe. It has nothing to do with WWII or Germanys "history of religious intolerance". Cruise's adherence to Scientology has become an image issue, too.

GERMANY in NOT intolerant against religions!!! Perhaps Tom wants to bring recognition to the fact that not ALL Germans or even ALL Nazis approved of Hitler, that there were those that tried to put a stop to the madness. And some of you people that write crap about Tom Cruise should not believe everything you read in the tabloids. It makes you sound ignorant.
