FIRST LOOK - Tom Cruise Bares His Chest In Rock Of Ages

Tom Cruise is showing off his sexy rock star chest in this new photo from the set of Rock of Ages. In the film, Katie Holmes' hubby sings Bon Jovi's hit song "Wanted Dead or Alive."
The Top Gun actor, who plays womanizing rocker Stacee Jaxx, will star opposite Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin, Mary J. Blige, Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta.
Director Adam Shankman tweeted the photo of Cruise along with the following:
- "Ladies and gents: first look at tom cruise as stacee jaxx! First day of shooting!"

Adam Shankman said the following to EW about casting Tom Cruise in the film:
- “Here’s the thing about Tom Cruise: I knew in my heart he would never put himself in harm’s way about taking on a part if he didn’t think he could deliver. So it wasn’t until our first go around with his voice lesson that we sort of looked at each other and went, ‘This is gonna work!’ And we were basically dancing around the living room and high-fiving each other because he actually has a fantastic voice."
