Tom and Katie Getting Death Threats?

Apparently the Cruises didn't have such a merry Christmas -- the Mail reports that Tom and Katie have been receiving death threats believed to be coming from some of the same groups who have been protesting the couple's involvement in Scientology.
According to the report, for security reasons Tom and Katie now live in separate residences (which might explain why we haven't seen them together for a while) and ride through the streets of New York in bomb-proof vehicles.
A sources tells the paper, "The threats are perceived to be so great that the FBI has been alerted. Tom is terrified. He doesn’t feel safe anywhere."
If this IS true, what a horrible way to spend Christmas!

The public isn't stupid... they have been riding in bomb proof vehicles since we have seen them as a couple....If they had TRULY received threats...then Katie wouldn't have been signing autographs with her daughter on her hip after her show. She wouldn't have taken her daughter to the movie and allowed her to walk down the street with her. She wouldn't still be partaking in her daily photo op's when she leaves her apartment every morning. I call some major BS!!!!
