Tom Cruise Talks Birthday, X-Mas Plans
Tom Cruise is one busy guy, as he travels across the country this week promoting his new film Valkyrie.
But just because his schedule is packed, it doesn't mean he's too busy to plan a few surprises for wife Katie's 30th birthday on Thursday.
On Wednesday morning's On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Tom said he's "got some things planned" to surprise Katie on her birthday, but said "we've really been celebrating all week."
While he wouldn't go into detail, he did drop a little hint.
"I like romance," Tom said.
Meanwhile, Tom said the couple is "still working" on their Christmas plans.
Since Katie only has 2 days off from her role in Broadway's All My Sons, Cruise said they'd probably stay at home with family.
"The main thing we know is there is going to be nice family time," said Cruise and added that Katie is in charge of organizing dinners and family get-togethers.
"Kate designs our life," he said.
