...as opposed to attending Scientologist pal John Travolta's son Jett's memorial service in Florida today.
Above is Tom and Katie with their precious little angel yesterday and last night in the Big Apple. Today the Valkyrie star is taping a View segment, but we're sure he'll be with the Travoltas in spirit.
By the way, Suri always looks tired when we see her. Maybe next time they should leave her home to nap?

Considering that you blood suckers are surrounding the area of the funeral, it is probably best the the Cruise's stay away. Let John and Kelly said goodbye to their son privately and quietly without you wondering what big name celeb is going to make it to the funeral like its some kind of red carpet event!
Does this child ever sleep in a bed? She is so frequently seen crashed on either Katie or Tom's shoulder looking exhausted and/or terrified. She's wrapped in blankets like an infant. We always see Nicole Ritchie & Joel Madden and Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale with their kids at public parks playing and totally interacting with their kids...see, it can be done.
This video is appalling. Between the shoes & the kid, Katie can hardly walk. However, she MUST stop to sign autographs while still holding the sleeping child (Tom stands by grinning like an idiot). The lights and noise wake the kid up, but Katie keeps on signing. Speaks volumes about where her priorities lie.
I don't think Suri is sleeping. I think she's freaked out by all the paps and camera flashes and people screaming at them. She's hiding her face in her Mom's shoulder. Geez. My daughter is the same age as Suri and does the same thing when she's shy or unsure of a situation. Give them a break.

In the video then, at the end of the line... the stepford dumb ass just stands around....it takes the freakin bodyguard to motion towards the car for her to get in it. Blech!! Pathetic losers!!!
To 1:08 PM - of course it's the paps & chaos - people don't give Katie & Tom a break because they do NOTHING to protect the kid - they could have just gotten into the car & siad, "Thanks everyone - have to get someone home to sleep. Bye!"

For those who commented about her signing signatures - imagine if she did not sign a few now.... the headlines that would bring. She does and gets critisized, she doesn't ... same thing. I applaud her for taking her daughter with her, too many people rely on babysitters. She's a great mom and my hats off to her! I just feel bad for Suri, I am sure all those flashes and screaming scare her!! Leave them alone!
