We know what Topher Grace was doing Wednesday afternoon: buffing up!

The 32-year-old actor is set to star in Gently Down The Stream alongside Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Diane Keaton and Amanda Seyfried. In the film, his character falls in love with the sister of his adoptive brother. Incest, no; awkward, yes! Sounds like a good directorial debut for Justin Beckham who penned The Bucket List. And frankly, a more interesting role of Grace than Spider-Man 3/!

Okay, it's not like Gerard Butler actually inspired the scruffy look, but more and more guys seem to be rocking it these days!

Yesterday afternoon we spotted Predators star Topher Grace grabbing brunch with a friend in Los Angeles, and we're happy to report that he looks nothing like Eric Forman from That '70s Show. And where has he been hiding those arms? Yum!

Following in the footsteps of remakes like Parenthood and The Witches Of Eastwick, ABC has ordered a script based on the 80s brat pack classic, St. Elmo's Fire, from first-time tv producer/actor Topher Grace.

The series, which aims to be a more dramatic version of Friends, follows the film in that it's about a group of post-college pals living in Georgetown, reports THR.

Like the film, which starred Demi Moore, Rob Lowe, Ally Sheedy, Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Andrew McCarthy and Mare Winningham, the series will focus on a mixed group of friends who become each other's surrogate family. Grace hopes the show will capture "the feeling of that time in your life when everything is possible but you can't figure out how to make it possible," as well as the movie did.

Writer Dan Bucatinsky will tackle the script as well as exec produce with Jamie Tarses, Joel Shumacher (the film's co-writer and director) and Grace.

Topher seemed pretty shocked to see the cameras as he waited for his car at the valet Tuesday night.

After posing with fans, "That 70s Show" star got a little impatient, and decided to do a little directing, instructing our photogs to get a reverse shot of the rest of the cameras shooting him.

Eventually, after running out of "talk show" like commentary, Topher decided to wait inside the restaurant.

But what else is new? The Match Point vixen attended Elle Magazine's 14th Annual Women in Hollywood event last night in Beverly Hills, and I think it's safe to say that she rocked it. Sleek, sexy and chic, Ms. Johansson may not be the best actress in the world - The Black Dahlia, anyone? - but she certainly knows how to work what she's got. We <3 ya, ScarJo!

Hilary and her sister Haylie were on another date with new BFFs Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado! Just who is with who is the real question - is Hilary with Brody or Frankie? Has Brody gone for Haylie or her younger sister? Ya think maybe they sometimes switch off?

It must be the start of awards season, because it seems like The Ivy was packed with even more stars than usual yesterday! Topher Grace (who does a double-take when our photog accidentally calls him "Tobey") was there at the same time that Sharon Stone and Martin Landau were lunching together, as was Roseanne Barr (who jokes that "it's a good thing I'm wearing underwear" as she gets in the car!)
