Even though he's still recovering from his own injuries, Travis Barker is doing something to help the families of his assistant and bodyguard who were killed in a tragic plane crash last month. Travis and his TRVSDJAM band mate DJ AM were the only survivors.
Travis is teaming up with "Famous Stars and Straps" clothing line to produce an exclusive T-shirt honoring the memory of his personal assistant Chris Baker and his bodyguard Charles Still, who was known as "Che."
A benefit concert is also planned and will feature a performance by celebrity DJ Mark Ronson, later this month in Hollywood.
You can order the shirt online and all of the money will go to a memorial fund set up for the two men.
Meanwhile, Travis' ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, is thanking everyone for their outpouring of love and support following the crash. On her myspace blog, Shanna writes that she is personally going through all the letters that fans have sent in. And Shanna's also posted a new video from PETA where she's encouraging people to become vegetarians.

I appreciate that they are helping the families of their friends, but there were two additional victims that perished in the crash as well, the pilot and copilot. How come no one is paying any attention to them or including their families as recipients of the benefits? That's not cool or right.l

Who would want a shirt that says Chris and Che? They were not our friends, who would want their names on their chest? It is a nice gesture but they should have put some thought into what they were selling to raise money.
