Regis Announces His Final Day Hosting Live With Regis And Kelly
Posted on Tue Sep 6, 2011 10:30 AM PDT
Regis Philbin has announced that November 18 will be his final show with Live with Regis and Kelly.
The 80-year-old host made the big announcement this morning with Kelly Ripa by his side.
Philbin began hosting with Kathie Lee Gifford back in June 1985. Gifford left the show in 2000 and Ripa was chosen as the new co-host in 2001.
No word yet as to who will be taking over for Philbin in November.
So far Survivor host Jeff Probst, Dancing With The Stars alum Psycho Mike, Ryan Seacrest, Andy Cohen, Ripa's hubby Mark Consuelos and Howie Mandel have all thrown their names in the ring.
Do you have a favorite?
We'll miss you, Regis!

Go already.. just leave please..
I don't see how anyone named Psycho Mike can get a job hosting a national show. Seems a little high brow for him.
