We saw everything from sequins to horns to PDA last night, so who looked the hottest on the red carpet at the Met Costume Institute Gala? Rihanna dared to rock a tux, Tyra took an otherwise stunning gown and ruined it with her hair, Posh and Anne Hathaway looked cute but kinda boring, and then there were some major fashion fails (cough, Madonna and Leighton Meester, cough).

We vote Gisele! Girlfriend looked flawless...and having a hunky hubby like Tom Brady on her arm certainly didn't hurt!

RIHANNA AND ANNE TWO OF THE WORST DRESSED OF THE NIGHT. JESSICA BIEL BEST DRESSED.
The MET is suppose to be over the top. It's a COSTUME gala. So I thought that people are suppose to dress over the top - crazy avant garde dresses. High fashion doesn't always make sense. Now, if this was a regular red carpet event, I would agree that Rihanna's or Madonna's would be a fashion don't. However, since this is a Fashion Costume Gala, I give props to them for taking a chance and wearing something insane.
So who was your favorite? Forget the couture. I choose Kiefer Sutherland. TMZ has a story about an altercation between Proenza Schouler designer, Jack McCollough and Kiefer Sutherland. McCollough allegedly knocked Brooke Shields down. Sutherland saw what happened, went over to McCollough and told him to apologize. McCollough pushed Sutherland who responded with a head butt.
Best dressed: Kate Beckinsale wearing a gorgeous midnight blue, embroidered gown by Marchesa.

Yep. This is considered a costume type of theme event. Rihanna is kind of 80's, Tyra's like 40's and Anne is a 60's/70's style.
