Ugly Betty Canceled!

Poor Betty! Er, I mean America Ferrera.
Not that we watch the show anymore, but ABC president Steve McPherson - along with the show's exec producer Silvio Horta - made the following announcement today:
- "We've mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty's final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion. We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell."
The award-winning series is currently in its fourth season. I guess this will give America ample time to make Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 3?

Very sad. It was a good show, but unfortunately it suffered from a ratings fallout due to the writer's strike. I thought ABC gave Ugly Betty a second chance, but guess not.
Moving "Betty" to Fridays is what killed the show. It had solid ratings on Thursdays but I think the combination of new night and being on Friday destroyed ratings.
Payback biotch, for bitching on Lilo and getting her kicked off the show! Now haul your fugly self into darkness where you belong!

I'm not Dina psycho! Had the producers not been cowards and give in to ugly Betty and left Lilo on the show it would still have been on whether on Friday or any day of the week. In case you haters forget Vanessa Williams, when asked about the conflict between UGLY BETTY and Lilo defended Llilo and said she found her to be professional, pleasant and a good actress. Fugly Betty (A Ferrera) was jealous of her and caused her to be kicked off the show. Bitch thought she was all that and a bag of chips...

Ugly Betty is so wonderful, the best TV series I've ever seen, always perfect in every detail.
