Did She or Didn't She?!?!

Twilight fans everywhere were talking about the rumors that Vanessa Hudgens had auditioned for the role of werewolf Leah Clearwater in the upcoming New Moon.
Turns out, it's not true.
Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who's writing New Moon, says she hasn't even written a single word for the character of Leah.
"If Vanessa is auditioning for the role of Leah, she’s written her own pages to read, ’cause I didn’t write ‘em, " Rosenberg wrote on a Twilight fan website.
(It's not even clear at this point if Leah - who's a minor character in New Moon but has a larger role in Eclipse - will even be in the movie!!)
We also talked to Vanessa's rep and she told us that "to her knowledge" the HSM star hadn't auditioned for New Moon.
We still think Vanessa is a good choice for the role - guess we'll just have to wait for Eclipse to see her join the Twilight family.

Ewwl shes a horrible choice theres tons of better actresses out there. Im SUPER happy shes nt gunna b in it. Wat kind of talent has she displayed? Horrible singer and not to mention "actress" go away baby vadge!
I actually would love them to RE CAST Bella and cast her as Bella. Kristin looks the part of Bella but she can not act. Anyone remember the hospital scene in Twilight and her yelling NO NO?? It was so painful to watch, it was like a bad high school play. I would love to see someone with real chemistry with Rob. When I leave the movie I want to BELIEVE they are those characters, I didnt believe her as Bella
thank god!!! i LOVE vanessa. i would hate to see her in a movie like TWATLIGHT. such an overrated book and movie imo.
Oh for fucks sakes people, it's just a friggin movie. Seriously these little Twilighter are acting like it's some sort of holy scripture that can not be touched unless your related to the messiah. When these little rugrats grow up, they'll hopefully smarten up and laugh at how UTTERLY ridiculous they looked at the hilarious outcry of Vanessa POSSIBLY being in the movie.

She's doing this publicity thing to get the Twilight people to notice her and offer her the role for eclipse! How desperate of her! She can't act and she doesn't look American Indian for that matter...
vanessa is the most talented star in hollywood, amongst her age bracket... she definitely will be able to act it right if she'll be leah - and surely she might be able to do better than kristen... kristen sucks and she's not beautiful.. but oh well, vanessa is way too beautiful for that ugly rob so it's good she's not bella either...
