Producers Release New Trailer For The Dilemma Without Gay Slur
Posted on Sun Oct 10, 2010 08:00 AM PDT
After Anderson Cooper publicly called out the trailer for Vince Vaughn's new film The Dilemma for using a gay slur, the studio has removed the clip and released a new trailer.
On the controversial line, GLAAD president Jarrett Barrios said, "The use of the word 'gay' in this trailer as a slur is unnecessary and does nothing more than send a message of intolerance about our community to viewers." The studio told The Hollywood Reporter on Friday, "The teaser trailer for 'The Dilemma' was not intended to cause anyone discomfort."
We're glad Anderson Cooper brought it up!
