Wesley Snipes Claims The Legal System Has Failed Him

Looks like Wesley Snipes is heading to jail, but before getting locked up, he stopped by Larry King Live to discuss his legal woes.
With his lawyer beside him, Snipes tells King:
- “I’m more upset and disappointed in the system. We still have prayers out there, Larry. We still believe in miracles. So don’t send me up the river just yet.”
Back in February 2008, the Blade actor was convicted by a Florida jury on three misdemeanor counts for willfully failing to file federal tax returns from 1999 - 2001. Snipes is now getting ready to serve three years in a Pennsylvania cell.
During the interview, Snipes adds, "I was never charged with tax evasion. I was convicted of three misdemeanors of willful failure to file a form."

He should just pay his damn taxes like the rest of us. What a self centered little b*tch.
Wesley you should have been a politician,all that would happen is a censure or a top job..
Why isn't he allowed to just pay them the money if it was a misunderstanding?
3 years jail for 3 misdemeanors is excessive.
Just goes to show how Lindsay Lohan was coddled by the justice system.
She had cocaine on her person and in her body, carjacked, she DUIed and drove her Benz off the curb.
They knocked her charges down to misdemeanors.
Then she defied the courts by not abiding by her probation for 3 years.
Then she failed to show up at court and went to party in the south of France.
For all this she got a few days jail and a slap on the wrist at a posh rehab.
Wesley should have painted his face white and told them he was an addict. He would have gotten less time for sure.
If mistakes were made with his taxes, the accounting firm should be sued. It's not like Wesley or other famous people do their own taxes.
Couldnt he request some lohan "celebrity justice" he would have gotten of with a lecture and a slap on the ass.
It does look like he is being persecuted.
Don't try to win a court case in Florida as black man.
Was it a jury trial? How many black people were on the jury?
