Balloon Boy's Family Releases Home Vid Of Lift Off

The Heene family has released a home video of the Balloon's lift off in an effort to do damage control after Falcon told Larry King, "We did this for the show.'"
In the vid, shot by one of their older sons, Richard Heene counts down to launch, then freaks out when his wife lets go of the tether of the balloon before she was supposed to. He seems genuinely upset at her for releasing before she was supposed to, but it doesn't seem as if they realize that their son was in the balloon at the time it starts to float away.
So is this genuine? Or just "for the show," as Falcon said?
This is kinda hard to tell!

Ohhh...they just "happened" to be filming it when it happened.
I think they would have known if their son was in the balloon when it left.
A child that age is around 45-50 pounds. I don't think it would have took off so easily if he were in it.

First of all, parents should be supervising a young six year old, instead of tinkering around with a balloon.
Also, think of the people willing to risk their lives for the safety of this kid. At one point during the rescue attempt, authorities were discussing dropping someone into the balloon basket to help land it. Can you imagine taking that risk for nothing!!
These parents should be arrested, made to pay back every cent spent on this hoax, and investigated for physically and emotionally abusing all their children!!!
THIS IS DISGUSTING AND THE PARENTS SHOULD BE CHARGED ACCORDINGLY! THE DAD IS A TOTAL CRAZY A-HOLE AND MADE A FOOL OF HIMSELF ON 'WIFE SWAP'.

I have two boys, and I know crazy hings can happen when you're standing right next to them. I don't think they did this to get publicity, but info says they were shopping around a reality show. That might explain why they were filming it, AND why the boy made the comment he did. I don't for a minute believe they were faking the concern for their son, though. I am surprised that no "experts" came foreward and realized that there was not enough helium to lift the boy.
I do not think this is the same balloon, the bottom of the balloon(Basket)is much shorter then what we watched on tv yesterday. Am I right?
Horrible, horrible parents. They are so full of crap!!! They were both trying to be actors people! They were acting and doing it for the show, they need to pay back the tax payers ASAP!
Couldn't ANY of the news operations sought out an aviation expert to explain this device DOES NOT HAVE THE LIFTING POWER to take a young child into the air?
What a joke CNN and all the others are. In a plane crash, they have "experts" on the air within 15 minutes.
You know just from looking at the video that a kid could not be lifted by that balloon. And if that is the case, then why would authorities even consider the idea that a child might be inside it. I understand that they might have at the time because they didn't really know what they were dealing with. But after seeing the video, it's obvious that the parents did not think their child was being lifted by that balloon. If that's the case, they lied and should be charged.
