Cissy Houston On Daughter Whitney's Death: "I Don’t Blame Myself"
Posted on Fri Mar 30, 2012 01:50 PM PDT

Cissy Houston is opening up about the loss of her daughter Whitney.
The 78-year-old gospel singer tells New Jersey's My9's 10 O'Clock News:
- "I have my moments. I'm not there yet. I don't think I'm any more courageous than anyone else. I am a true believer in God, if I could bring her back I would, but that's not possible."
Whitney passed away on February 11. When asked if she feels guilty for her daughter's death, Cissy says, “I know I did the best I could. I don’t blame myself. I know I did the best I could for everything.”
Cissy adds, "She was very special to me. She was my only daughter, and a good one.”
