Zac Cuts Loose "Footloose"

If you were looking forward to seeing Zac Efron in the planned remake of the '80s classic Footloose, we've got bad news...
The floppy-haired heartthrob has pulled out of the project, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Apparently, Zac thinks another musical wouldn't be the best thing for his career right now.
The news was a big surprise to studio executives, with one saying: "People had been working on this project since last July - we were all shocked."
Kinda disappointing don't you think? I guess we'll have to satisfy our Zac-addiction with the upcoming 17 Again which hits theaters in April.

So how was Footloose a musical?
If they were working on a script that long it just sounds like it was bound to fail. Good call Zac. Maybe Paramount can just let this die now.
He can't just keep doing redo's of old movies either or he's going to become a has been fast.
Why even remake Footloose, some films should not be remade. It would not have been the same without Kevin Bacon as the lead.

Footloose has alot of songs, but not as many as highschool musical, but it is sent in highschool, and him going after the girl.
He is such an insipid little boy!!!!!
