LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - On October 31, 2007, Lane Garrison was sentenced to forty months in state prison for vehicular manslaughter, but E! Online is reporting that due to good behavior, Garrison may only have to serve twenty months of his sentence.

According to an insider, the actor has been spending his time reading, writing, and playing basketball. The Prison Break star wrote a letter to Access Hollywood back in February, telling the show how he watched the season premiere of his show with fellow inmates. “It felt like an out of body experience as I stood around a crowd of tattooed felons watching Michael Scofield try to escape," he said. "All of us longing to be free as well!”
