LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - After months of keeping quiet regarding charges that he drugged Britney Spears and that he was the main cause of her increasingly erratic behavior, former friend Sam Lutfi issued a statement today through his spokesperson Michael Sands denying the allegations.
Britney's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears had filed a temporary restraining order against Lutfi on their daughter's behalf on February 1, 2008, and it was Lynne who swore in a declaration that Lutfi was drugging the pop star.
"The allegations and the declaration in the temporary restraining order are untrue and have not been proven," said Lutfi's spokesman Michael Sands.
The next hearing is scheduled for April 16, 2008.
