LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - On the surface, things may seem relatively normal for Jamie Lynn Spears, but family insiders are telling a different story. According to Life & Style Weekly, Jamie and Lynne Spears aren't thrilled about Jamie Lynn marrying her 18 year old boyfriend Casey Aldridge; in fact, an insider tells the magazine that Jamie Lynn's parents think that "if she gets married, she’ll just be compounding one mistake with another.”

In Touch Weekly is reporting that if the teens do go ahead and get married, Lynne Spears is adamant about Casey signing a prenuptial contract in order to protect Jamie Lynn’s financial assets. Sources close the the Spears family report that Lynne is "not sure marriage is a good idea, but she’ll go along with that if that’s what Jamie Lynn wants." Jamie Spears on the other hand, is going to be harder for Jamie Lynn to convince - after all, he watched Britney's marriage unravel, and the divorce and subsequent custody battle "caused the family nothing but grief,” says the source.

Why is it so important to get her parents blessing? Since Jamie Lynn is not yet 18, she is required to get her parents' consent to be legally married. Jamie Lynn turns 17 this Friday, but as far as the law is concerned she is still under her parents control. Sources close to the family say that Jamie Lynn's only hope at this point is her mother. Apparently Lynne "can be a real pushover when it comes to her kids" - which means Jamie Lynn might just get her fairytale wedding after all.
