A Resolution "Will Be Imminent" For Spears And Federline's Custody Case

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's attorneys were in court this morning finalizing their clients modified custody order, and though the court has not yet made the agreement official, all parties have agreed that Federline will be given sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.
Spears' attorney, Lauren Wasser called today's decision "a victory for the entire family," and added that Spears and Federline have "finally figured out a way to work together as co-parents, and the kids will benefit as a result of that." Wasser told the press Spears has the children right now, she will have them tonight and she is "very excited" about seeing them again this weekend and she "is doing really well." Wasser also added that Spears "will get more custodial time by the end of the year."
Kaplan told the media he was "not going to comment on the terms of an agreement, it has not yet been ordered by the court," but the agreement "will be converted into a legal document with the court." No word on how long it will take for the agreement to become official, but Kaplan added that the need to go to trial has been averted, and it "has been a long ordeal and to have that over is extremely rewarding."
Court spokesman Allan Parachini reiterated Kaplan's remarks, as he told the press outside the courtroom today that a settlement has not yet been reached, but the lawyers are working together and a resolution "will be imminent, but what that is [the resolution] I don't know."
Neither Spears not Federline were present at today's hearing.
