LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Jessica Simpson was booed as she walked onto the stage at the Country Thunder USA Festival in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, according to Kenosha News.
Simpson started off her set by singing a cover of Nancy Sinatra's These Boots Are Made For Walking, and then performed Willie Nelson and Shania Twain covers as well as her latest single, Come On Over.
Though Simpson received cheers from some fans in the crowd, numerous concert-goers had less positive things to say about the singer. One audience member said, "I just don't hear the country in her; I don't hear the twang. She's not good enough to be here." Another called her performance "crap," and added, "She doesn't belong here."
According to Fox News, Simpson picked up on the crowd's dislike, telling them, "I don't know what your perception is of Jessica Simpson or what tabloid you buy, but I just want you to know that I'm just a girl from Texas; I'm just like you. I'm doing what I love and dating a boy."

I think Jessica and her father are using Tony Romo for country appeal. Sick.
She got booed because nobody likes her and not because of the stupid lame excuses from her father. He is so sickenly and annoyingly overbearing and overprotective. They just don't get it and are in complete denial that people just don't like her and her family.

you don't know wat your talking about. jessica simpson has a beautiful voice she always has i like that shes going country.you can't sing about god in pop music can you. shes my favorite idol shes religous and shes dosen't do drugs and all that other stuff. people are complaining just to complain. some people are just really pitiful.
