LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Alex Rodriguez will host his All Star Party at Jay-Z's New York club, 40/40 this Monday, and Madonna is a confirmed guest, along with Beyonce, Jason Giambi, Jorge Posada, and David Ortiz, according to a publicist for the event.

Madonna and Rodriguez have both been surrounded by controversy over the past week, after Rodriguez's wife Cynthia filed for divorce on Monday, citing her husband's "extra marital affairs and other marital misconduct," as well as emotional abandonment. The Yankees star's estranged wife hired attorney Earle Lilly who told Houston television station KTRK the baseball star's "relationship with Madonna was the final straw for Mrs. Rodriguez."

Rumors of an impending divorce between Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie have been denied numerous times by her publicist, even though Madonna had a meeting with divorce attorney Fiona Shackleton just two weeks ago. It has been widely reported that Madonna and Rodriguez are an item, and that he has visited the singer on numerous occasions.

Both Rodriguez and Madonna have denied any romantic involvement, and Madonna even released the following statement online:

"My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez."
