LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The Dark Knight held on to the number one spot at the box office this weekend, and took in an additional $75.6 million, bringing it's total domestic earnings to a staggering $312.4 million in just ten days.

The previous record holder, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest took 13 days to reach the $300 million mark.
