Mary-Kate Olsen MKOLSEN080306_02_X17.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Though it was reported yesterday that Mary-Kate Olsen was not cooperating with federal investigators examining Heath Ledger's death, Olsen's lawyer said today that she has given investigators "relevant information" and the media reports are "incomplete and inaccurate."

Attorney Michael C. Miller issued the following statement:

"Despite tabloid speculation, Mary-Kate Olsen had nothing whatsoever to do with the drugs found in Heath Ledger's home or his body, and she does not know where he obtained them. Regarding the government's investigation, at Ms. Olsen's request, we have provided the government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger's death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed. We don't know the source of the information being quoted in the media regarding the government's inquiry, but these descriptions are incomplete and inaccurate."

It was reported yesterday that Olsen refused to be questioned by federal investigators unless she received immunity. Olsen and Ledger had been friends for nearly two years, and Olsen's masseuse, Diana Wolozin, was the one who discovered Ledger's body in his New York City home. Wolozin phoned the 22-year-old actress before calling authorities, which raised questions as to what involvement, if any, Olsen had in the Oscar nominated actor's death.

The medical examiner ruled that Ledger died of an accidental overdose, and all of the drugs in the 28 year-old actor's body were legally obtained from two doctors, except for OxyContin. According to a source for the New York Post, federal investigators were trying to figure out how Ledger acquired the OxyContin.
