LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Britney Spears' no holds barred documentary, "For the Record," aired last night on MTV, where, according to the network "no question went unanswered."

But perhaps the most pressing questions (are you sober? do you want your kids back? are you stable?) were never asked/

Watching Brit talk candidly about her breakups, her breakdown, her hard work, her time off and return to the spotlight (but don't call it a comeback) reminded us why the world fell in love with Spears ten years ago.

Although there's no doubt that Brit's in a better place now than she was last year, watching her go through the motions of her life, there was just this incredible sadness about her.

The only time it really let up was when we saw her dance, which was some of the best parts of the documentary.

Brit's well on her way back from the "mistakes" of the past, but is she happy again at last? Will she ever be?
