LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston have announced that they are starting a foundation to honor their son Jett.

Jett Travolta passed away in January while the family was on vacation in the Bahamas.

The Jett Travolta foundation will work to "assist and provide relief to children with vision, hearing, mobility, communication, behavioral learning impairments or other special medical, environmental, health or education needs," according to a statement on Travolta's official Web site.
