PETA Says Pets Aren't A Good Idea For OctoMom
Posted on Wed Apr 29, 2009 01:00 PM PDT

OcotomomPETA200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has sent a letter to Nadya Suleman urging her to not adopt a pet for her 14 children.

Suleman had said she was considering getting a dog and a pet pig for her children.

"We urge you to reconsider adding two more dependents to your family," Michelle Cho of PETA wrote.

"Like children, pigs and dogs are intelligent, social beings with complex needs. They require a lot of attention, space, and exercise as well as a huge financial commitment."

It's unclear if Suleman received the letter, however on Wednesday she told X17online that she was definitely not going to be adding a pet to her family anytime soon.

She really doesn't need to be adding anything to her list except maybe stop having kids that she can't take care of. There is no way that one person can raise that many kids alone. What was she thinking.

I beg to differ. I come from a family of 11 and my mother did it all by herself. I was 8 years old when she got wise and left my father. Yes if she could not afford 14 to children she should have thought about that. But she will find a way any mother knows that you will figure it out. To include I don't think Nadya Suleman is incapable of loving and caring for her children. AND PETA WHO ARE YOU TO URGE HER AGAINST GETTING A PET. If why should her kids never experience the joy of having a best friend. Society has lost all faith and all they are worried about is where the hell thier tax dollars are going well I can explain they are funding a war, and stimulus and health care I could go one for hours. If she wanted 14 kids she got them and we should all be happy they are being cared for and healthy.

blah, blah, blah... Is PETA the political correctness police now... every few years it's another group of the far left liberal wing-bats trying to tell the rest of the country how we should chew our cabbage. Maybe you can find time in your busy dope smoking lives to read the US Constitution. If you want to live in a fascist society go elsewhere. I am sure Cuba, Venezuela, Iran or N. Korea would love to have you. They could use some help over there with all their 3 legged dogs. But thanks People who like to Eat Tasty Animals(PETA) for your input.

It is nobody's business but Nadya's as to whether or not she chooses to adopt a pet. In the end, it is up to her to maintain her household and primarily her children. Many men and women have raised their children on their own-without help in any regard. Where is all of the attention for them? If it weren't for the high number of children that she has, Nadya would be just another statistic amongst the unwed mothers of the world. If it weren't for the media and their relentless fight for the next great story, Nadya would have to do what the rest of us do-wake up, care for our chilren, GO TO WORK, clean house, do laundry, make dinner, care for children, get minimal sleep, REPEAT. Wake up everyone-the more time that we spend focusing on other peoples' lives is less time we have to focus on our own!

It would be less costly to give her children stuffed animals which you don't have to feed or walk. Is she going to hire nurses to take care of the animals?
