LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A spokesperson for Farrah Fawcett is denying rumors that the former Charlie's Angels is near death.
"On Farrah Fawcett’s behalf, I can confirm that she recently checked into a Los Angeles hospital. And although it is usually against her nature to correct false or exaggerated stories that originate in tabloid style reports by offering true information that those ‘journalists’ would not otherwise have to publish.
"Farrah is allowing this statement out of appreciation for her fans, who have offered their constant support throughout her fight, as well as out of concern for the countless of other cancer patients who have written to her to say that they are following her story in the hope that there is hope. Tonight, Farrah has hope and she hopes that others will continue to hold onto theirs. In spite of what they read."
The statement comes from Craig Nevis, a producer who hase worked with Fawcett in the past. Reports say he believes Fawcett will be released from the hospital in a few days.
Fawcett, 62, has been battling cancer for the last three years.
