LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A photograph published in the United Kingdom shows Madonna and her daughter Lourdes walking hand-in-hand with the 4-year-old Malawian girl the singer is adopting.
The Sun newspaper reports, Madonna spent over an hour in Malawi’s High Court on Monday, when she told Judge Esme Chombo she would be “a deeply loving mother” to Mercy, whose Malawian name is Chifundo.
An official ruling on the adoption is expected by the end of the week.
