Redmond O'Neal Faces New Drug Charges

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Redmond O'Neal, the 24-year-old son of actors Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett has been charged with a felony count of bringing drugs to Los Angeles area jail, the Associated Press reports.
O'Neal was found with heroin and the prescription drug Xanax, while visiting a friend incarcerated at the Pritchess Detention Center in Castic, north of Los Angeles.
Bail was set at $75,000 for O'Neal, who was already on bail for a drug arrest last year in a case involving his father. He remains in custody and is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday.
Redmond O'Neal and his father were arrested last year at the actor's Malibu home after deputies said they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during a search.
Redmond O'Neal was on probation for a previous drug conviction and has pleaded not guilty in that case.

Looks are not everything...I agree. Maybe that's part of the problem..having to live up to the Hollywood image where everything is looks. Nobody has control over what they are going to look like.
I think his entire family needs help. The sins of the father and mother do visit the children unless they all get help. Leave his looks out of it - he is still only a kid.

It's not about looks or family it's about addiction. He should take responsibility for his actions and make a decision to get clean. Blaming his parents and how he looks? Seriously?!
It's too bad this had to happen just as his mother is so sick with cancer. The stress of this new arrest will not help her to cope with her illness.
I feel bad for the the whole family. There is hope and love available through Jesus and I don't see or hear anything from them that makes me believe they know this.

How kind and judgemental everyone is, have some compassion here, His mother is very ill and this may be his way of handling the situation, not the right way I know, but everyone handles things in their own way. His looks are associated with his addictions, He would probably look better if he wasn't doing the drug use. Pray for him don't put him down.

To all the negative comments posted you should be grateful for being able to get up out of your bed and walk and breathe and it can easily be taken from you in a split second. Be careful what you wish bad on someone else you dont even know or have ever met in this lifetime whether they are famous or not... Think ...you could be in those same shoes....

I feel sad when everyone jumps in to beat up others. I see it everywhere. People judging others as though they themselves are better. You have no idea what people go through. Take a look at yourselves. Have you not embarrsed yourself or your family at some time in your life? Have you not regreted your actions before? Have you not blamed others for your actions? Kids feel so lost nowadays. Most of them are just reared without principles, and especially without parents. We all need to learn right from wrong, but how do we if our parents aren´t there for us? Fame and fortune are not parents!
