Celebs Protest Gay Marriage Ruling

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Many celebrities voiced their disapproval of California's Supreme Court upholding Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage in the state.
Last night, thousands of protesters hit the streets of Los Angeles (moving from West Hollywood to Hollywood) to protest the decision.
Drew Barrymore, Kathy Griffin, Pete Wentz, Shanna Moakler, Eliza Dushku, Haylie Duff, Emmy Rossum, Mark Hoppus, Kelly Osbourne and Sophia Bush were among the celebs that attended the rally, and Drew even took the podium at one point during the night.
Other celebs used Twitter to express their disappointment.
"I'm sure you heard the prop 8 news," DeGeneres wrote on Twitter. "One day when everyone is treated with full equality, we'll look back and realize how wrong this was."
"This really makes me sad," Kim Kardashian wrote on her blog. "I thought we were more forward thinking than this, and I'm disappointed in the Supreme Court for being so closed minded. Everyone... gay, straight, bisexual, transgendered, EVERYONE should have equal rights to marry who they want to."

What celebs have to say doesn't matter and never will either. Some of the dumbest people on earth are 'celebs'. Gay people trying to shove their agenda down peoples throats ain't gonna get them anywhere. Thank God the Supreme Court showed sense.
This just means that we aren't ready yet. I think everyone should stop throwing a fit a realize that things like this take time for everyone to accept. You can't push it, otherwise people will become defensive. They need to calm down and give it time rather then use their star status as a means to garner attention (Which is usely negative).
Apparently some of the 'dumbest people on Earth' are here. Everyone has rights, not just the people you think you have the right to control.
I love phrases like the "gay agenda." The agenda is what? Yes. They are going to use their rights to get married as an attempt to affect your life in no way whatsoever. What an agenda.
