There are things I like about both Adam and Kris, but I'll be voting for Kris. He seems so genuine and sincere. Although Adam can certainly "rock it" I only downloaded his slow songs "Tracks of My Tears" and "If I Can't Have You." Both guys are talented musically, but are on total opposite sides of the spectrum. I also like that Kris can play guitar and piano, both of which he taught himself to do. If the Danny Gokey fans move their votes to Kris instead of Adam, I think we'll see a Kris Allen upset even though the judges think Adam will win. No matter how they sing tonight, Kris has my vote. Adam is the true star. Adam is one of the best singers to ever set foot on that stage! Kris does not deserve to be in the final as his vocal range and pitch are shallow! He is in the final because the teenagers think he is cute.

I'm ready for over the top, different talent. Adam sings effortlessly, what a gift. He has blown me away with his creativity and range.

How does the idea of gay enter into this question? It's a bit like disliking someones singing talent because they have a dog instead of a cat. I like listening to Adam. He amazes me. That's all. Chris is very talented also.

If you are going to judge strictly on musical talent, Adam has it. My husband is a musician and he just shakes his head at Adam. He says his vocal range is a rare gift and he's blown away by Adam's singing. I am not a rock fan but Tracks of My Tears and Mad World brought me to tears. There was a lot of good talent this year but Adam outshines them all.

By the way did you notice the physical attractiveness between the red head and Adam. I am a Christian but am not going to be judgmental. The good Lord can take care of that. Chris has a good voice, but I don't agree that he is pushing religion and it wasn't right to say he was. Have those of you who think he is the best ever watched his face when he is kept on. There have been times when he looks uncomfortable, especially the night that Adam was in the "chair" along with Matt. Strange.

Rusty, I too am a musician. My degree is in music. Adam is an actor with a great voice. He's all about the presentation, and he strikes me as fake. Kris is genuine. Danny was my favorite, and the best singer of the bunch. Since he's gone, Kris gets my votes.

I think that Adam is talented but he is not a recording artist...he is a stage singer. You can tell by his style of singing that he has been trained to perform in shows, not to record an artist. And his screaming is obnoxious! Its whiney and shreaky.

I think that Kris is better all around artist. He can sing, he can play the guitar and the piano. He definitely should win and will have a better career after Idol than Adam. Adam will go to Broadway, which is great but I don't think that is what Idol is for.

I was very disappointed at the judges' bias. I do like both performers, but think Kris is a much more well-rounded, a talented MUSICIAN (vocally and instrumentally) and great to watch AND listen to. He is also honest, humble and genuine, and that is what America should be idolizing. Adam is fun to watch (and yes extremely talented) but his place is really on the broadway stage, not on my ipod (ouch!!).

I have always expected the finale to be Adam and Danny, but am glad that it turned out the way it did. I like both Adam and Chris very much because they are from different ends of the music spectrum, it just comes down to personal taste. I vote for Adam because imo he is the complete package and will be ready from the get go to be marketed. Chris will take some work to get him ready. But good luck to both, they both deserve to be where they are.

I agree with many of the comments posted here that Adam's songs all began to sound alike in that he ended up screaming the high notes, which lacked showing us what he truly sounds like singing "normally." His singing became way too predictable.

Kris, on the other hand, has shown us he has real talent in playing the piano and guitar AND proved his range of singing skills by performing a variety of songs that did not all sound alike!

Kris has my vote and I hope he wins!!!

American Idol is completely rigged! They made it clear that they want Adam to win. The last song they chose for Kris was completely out of his range and so unlike the style of music he sang all season. What they did to him really wasn't fair! Kris has my vote!!

I, too, thought all season it would come down to Danny and Adam. Like others have commented, Adam's humility no longer seems genuine. I am in music education and IMHO Adam is a great actor, has great stage presence and confidence, is an entertainer, has a fantastic vocal range and strong delivery, but I've grown tired of the screaming and the acting. He's good and he knows he's good and I believe he (and Simon) will be shocked if Adam doesn't win. However, I will be voting for Chris and I believe all the 'Danny' voters will also be voting for Chris, so Adam and Simon may be in for a shock tonight. In the end, I'll always be disappointed that Danny didn't have the chance to go against Adam and win it all!

Knowing that you are good is called "confidence" and thats a good thing in this business, something that Kris never had.
