LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - With a huge $87 million gross, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" easily took the top spot at this weekend's box office.
It was the best ever non-holiday opening for a 20th Century Fox film, according to Variety.
"Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" came in a distant second with a still respectable $15.3 million.
"Obsessed" continued to perform well, bringing in another $12.2 million in its second week of release.
While "17 Again" and "Monsters Vs. Aliens" rounded out the top five with $6.3million and $5.8 million respectively.
