LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The Jackson Family has arrived at Forrest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills for a private funeral for Michael Jackson.

The family left the Jackson compound in Encino shortly before 8 a.m. in a procession of black Range Rovers and Rolls Royces.

Los Angeles Police blocked the freeway so that the family could get to the cemetery, several miles away.

The family is gathering for a private ceremony before heading to Staples Center for the large public memorial which is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

It's not clear if Jackson's body will be taken to Staples Center for the memorial.
